Round 1 Format: Mixed Teams
Athletes: 2 male, 2 female athletes

The Workouts:

Event 1 is comprised of two sections that are scored separately.

LBB_WOD1.1.

Group A
15 minutes to find 1RM Snatch
Rest 5 minutes before starting WOD1.2

Group B
15 minutes to find MAX Snatch + Hang Snatch (above knee)
Rest 5 minutes before starting WOD1.2

Group C
15 minutes to find 3RM Hang Snatch
Rest 5 minutes before starting WOD1.2

Score – Combined weight from all team members max lifts

Group A For time :
Buy In: Assault Bike 60cal/40cal

5 Rounds:
30 Double Unders
25 Air Squats
15 Burpees

Cash Out: Row 1,000m/750m

Group B For time:
Buy In: Assault Bike 60cal/40cal

5 Rounds:
60 Single Unders
20 Air Squats
10 Burpees

Cash Out: Row 1,000m/750m

Group C For time:
Buy In: Assault Bike 40cal/20cal

5 Rounds:
40 Single Unders
15 Air Squats
10 Straight Arm Burpees

Cash Out: Row 750m/500m

Score – The team score will be the time it takes to get all 4 athletes through the workout. Teams can decide the order in which athletes go through the workout. Once athlete 1 has completed the assault bike and 5 rounds of skipping, squats and burpees and has started the row, athlete 2 can start on the assault bike. This order will follow all the way through to the 4th athlete.

 

We all love CrossFit, and everyone should have the chance to compete in a regular CrossFit competition.  No matter if you are a competition veteran or a first-time competitor, Box Battles has a group for you:

The Groups:

Group A: The top CrossFit athletes from each box.  The guys and girls who fancy themselves as competitive athletes and who want to compete against the best London have to offer.
Group B: CrossFit athletes that are training for general health and fitness and don’t want to compete with the big guns.  Most of these athletes will have been doing CrossFit for over 12 months.  This groups WODs will be slightly scaled to suit the level of fitness.
Group C: First-time competitors or athletes that have been doing CrossFit for less than 12 months.   Again these WODs will be scaled to suit the level of fitness.

Note: It is the responsibility of each box to put each athlete in the most appropriate group for their skill and fitness levels.  The aim is to have athletes from each box competing against athletes of similar ability.
